DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation Training

DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation Training has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 9am-4pm at the Mercer County Demptser Fire Training Academy in Lawrenceville, NJ. Training will be conducted by NATC as they provided ANJHHWC the most cost effective proposal.
DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation Training fee will be $100 per person with lunch included. Member businesses may only register two (2) people.
The brochure, directions & registration form are attached. This class has been approved for “6 classroom CRP” credits by Rutgers Continuing Education.
Please register early as class size is limited to 25. If you are responsible for preparing and signing paperwork/manifests ….you should attend. DOT requires initial training & recurrent training every three years.

Benefits
This intensive one day course is designed to provide the federally mandated training to those who deal with all phases of hazardous materials or hazardous waste in transportation. It will provide the information necessary to properly prepare and handle these materials during transportation. This course complies with the training requirements of 49 CFR 172.700 – 172.704.
Audience
This course is designed for employees who: handle, load or unload hazardous materials; prepare hazardous materials for transportation; are responsible for transporting hazardous materials; or operate a vehicle used to transport hazardous materials.
