Notice of a a free November 17, 2011 NJDEP seminar regarding regulated medical and pharmaceutical waste was recently announced by NJDEP.  The information below provides the NJDEP announcement.

Regulated Medical Waste and Hazardous Pharmaceutical Waste. The seminar will be held on November 17, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. at the New Jersey Forensic Science Technology Center (1200 Negron Drive in Hamilton, NJ). Registration will start at 8:00 a.m., and the seminar will begin promptly at 8:45 a.m. Directions to the facility are available at:

This seminar will provide a thorough overview of both Regulated Medical Waste (RMW) and Hazardous (RCRA) Pharmaceutical Waste regulations. Commercial and Non-Commercial Medical Waste Facilities, Generators, Transporters, Destination and Destruction Facilities, Laboratories, Transfer and Treatment Facilities will benefit from attending this seminar. Any facility that also generates RCRA Pharmaceutical Waste should find the seminar helpful.
