Annually, Camden County recently has conducted four (4) comprehensive HHW disposal days while also conducting four (4) paint only collection days.

2008 Household Special Waste Collection Day

  • March 29, 2008 - Cherry Hill Public Works Complex, 1 Perina Boulevard
  • April 26, 2008 - Collingswood Public Works Complex, 713 N. Atlantic Ave.
  • May 17, 2008 - Atco Parking Area, Corner of Atco & Raritan Aves. 
  • June 21, 2008 - Camden County College, Peter Cheeseman Road, Parking area behind “CIM” Bldg. 
  • September 20, 2008 - Pennsauken Sanitary Landfill, 9600 River Road
  • October 18, 2008 - Camden County Public Works Complex
    2311 Egg Harbor Road, Lindenwold

2008 Electronic Recycling Collection Events

Camden County is sponsoring an Electronics Recycling Collection Event for all Camden County residents. Recycling your electronics keeps dangerous materials such as lead, mercury, cadmium and chromium from being released into the environment.

  • April 12, 2008 - Camden County Public Works Complex, 2311 Egg Harbor Road, Lindenwold
    8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • June 21, 2008 - Camden County College, Peter Cheeseman Road, Parking area behind “CIM” Bldg.
    8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • October 25, 2008 - Camden County Public Works Complex, 2311 Egg Harbor Road, Lindenwold
    8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. 
CAUTION

Explosives or Highly Reactive Materials may be dangerous. If you have these types of materials, call first for safety instructions. DO NOT bring these materials without prior authorization! These dangerous items include, but are not limited to, picric acid, isopropyl ether, calcium carbide, perchloric acid and benzoyl peroxide.
